Even if you're healthy and have no health concerns right now, it's important to be prepared.

Register With MyGroupHealth
All members can use our secure member Web site to refill prescriptions and view coverage and benefit information. And if you get your care at Group Health medical centers, you can e-mail your doctor, schedule appointments, and view your online medical record.

Transferring prescriptions to Group Health pharmacies
If you're currently on medication, transferring your prescriptions to our Group Health pharmacy system will allow you to use our online or telephone refill system and have them mailed to your home, with great prices and free shipping. This also gives your Group Health doctors easy access to your medication records so they can review your medications with you and check all medications for unwanted interactions.
To transfer your medications, use our online form (log on to MyGroupHealth and go to the "Refill Prescriptions" section), call or drop in to a Group Health pharmacy, or mail or fax the printed form (see PDF below).

Making appointments
For immediate health concerns, same-day appointments are normally available. Call you doctor's office.
For non-urgent or routine care such as preventive/well-care exams or follow-ups, you can schedule appointments in advance, at a time convenient for you. Call your doctor's office or log in to MyGroupHealth to schedule appointments with Group Health doctors. You can also make appointments directly (without a referral) for consultations with most Group Health specialists. (You need a referral to see contracted specialists.)

Emergency/urgent care and 24-hour medical advice
In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency care facility. (It does not have to be a Group Health facility.) For urgent conditions that do not pose an immediate, serious threat to your health or life, call your personal physician's office or the Consulting Nurse Service to get immediate advice. They will direct you to the most appropriate care -- your doctor's office, a Group Health Urgent Care Center, or the nearest contracted urgent care facility. The Consulting Nurse Service is also available round-the-clock for medical advice.
