Depending on your plan and where you live, you have the choice of getting your care from our 26 Group Health medical centers and more than 900 Group Health doctors, and from our network of thousands of contracted providers.

Getting Started With Group Health

To get the most from your Group Health coverage and get the best care possible from Day 1, take three quick and easy steps that are all key to care centered on you:

1. Pick a Personal Physician
   Even if you're healthy and have no health concerns right now, it's important to be prepared.
2. Register With MyGroupHealth
   All members can use our secure member Web site to refill prescriptions and view coverage and benefit information. And if you get your care at Group Health Medical Centers, you can e-mail your doctor, schedule appointments, and view your online medical record.
3. Complete a Health Profile
   This comprehensive health questionnaire alerts you to possible health risks and suggests ways to stay healthy or improve your health.

Care From Contracted Doctors

All of our health plans offer you access to thousands of contracted doctors, in addition to our Group Health physicians. And some of our plans include out-of-network coverage with the First Choice Health and Beech Street networks and any other licensed provider.*

For specialty care with contracted doctors, referrals from you primary care doctor generally are required.

If you choose care from our contracted providers, you can use our MyGroupHealth online services to refill prescriptions and view details about your coverage and benefits. Most other online services are available only when you get care from a Group Health doctor at Group Health medical centers.
