Our 2009 Advertising Campaign: Action Doctors
Year after year, television strives to entertain us with medical dramas filled with romance and disasters, portraying plot lines completely unrelated to the real world of health care. Using this popular prime-time genre in our latest television commercials, we show how Group Health offers health plans with unique benefits and services. We developed these commercials in partnership with our ad agency, TM Advertising, to show the Group Health difference in a humorous, thought-provoking format. The ads include a fictional Group Health doctor, Nathan Hardy, MD, who acts as consultant for the writers of the imaginary television series, "Action Doctors." Our Dr. Hardy touts Group Health's valuable, personalized services such as care for chronic conditions, online medical records, and doctor/patient e-mail. These advantages serve as a sensible, real-life juxtaposition to the over-the-top story ideas of the young script writers.
