Living Well With Chronic Conditions Workshops

Our six-week workshops help people learn how to manage their chronic conditions and improve their quality of life. Workshop participants support each other and work together to solve their problems.

Your options are:

  • Attend group sessions for Living Well With Chronic Conditions in Western Washington. (See locations and dates below.)
  • Participate in the online version of the workshop, called Better Choices, Better Health®.

There is no charge for the workshops.

Online Workshops

Better Choices, Better Health is the name of the Web-based version of the Living Well program. Group Health offers the online workshops in partnership with the National Council on Aging (NCOA). The workshops are for all ages of adults.

You may participate from any computer with an Internet connection. You'll join up to 25 other participants in an interactive workshop that runs for six weeks, with a new session beginning each week.

You will be asked to log in on the first or second day of each new session. You can log in at any time of day. You don't need to be online at the same time as other workshop participants. Most people log in at least three times each week, for a total of two to three hours a week.

You'll learn from trained volunteer leaders, many who also have chronic health conditions. You will set your own goals and make a step-by-step plan to improve your health and your life.
