The Your Life, Your Choices program offers free, two-hour group workshops helping you make informed decisions about your end-of-life care.

Arthritis: Managing Pain
Geared toward seniors, this class offers information on managing arthritis pain. Open to members and public.

Baby Care Basics
This class covers all a new parent needs to know to care for an infant in the first weeks of life.

Bariatric Surgery Support Groups
Offers support and information for Group Health members who are considering weight-loss surgery and those who have already had the surgery.

Bereavement Classes & Support Groups
Grief and loss classes and support groups in the Puget Sound area.

Better Breathers Support Group
Better Breathers is a support group for adults who have lung disease. Open to members and public.

Breastfeeding Basics
Learn about breastfeeding, equipment, and lactation support services. For Group Health members only.

Cancer Support Group
This weekly support group is for cancer patients, their family, and friends. The group is facilitated by a Group Health social worker.

Cancer Support Group: Look Good, Feel Better
Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this support group is specifically for women experiencing the appearence-related side effects of cancer treatments.

Childbirth Classes for Pregnant Teens
Our Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Clinic provides childbirth classes for teens. For Group Health Members only.

Complementary and Alternative Therapies
Learn about integrating complementary alternative medicine including chiropractic, naturopathy, and acupuncture therapies with your health care. Open to members and public.

Dementia and Alzheimer's
This class provides information about understanding dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Open to members and public.

Diabetes Education
Learn about living with diabetes. Open to members and public.

EnhanceFitness
One-hour senior fitness classes are offered three times a week at participating locations. Seniors unable to stand may sit while exercising.

Free & Clear Quit For Life Group Program Meetings
A five-week class that supports members in their efforts to quit tobacco use.

Grandparenting Class
For all expectant grandparents, this class covers updated safety issues, how to support breastfeeding, and the adjustment to grandparenting.

Great Starts Birth and Family Education Program
Great Starts provides childbirth education and early parenting classes to expectant parents and new families in Seattle and the Puget Sound region.

Heart Health: Blood Pressure Clinic
See a registered nurse, have your blood pressure taken, and receive information and education to help manage hypertension.

Home Care and Hospice
Learn about home care and hospice services. Open to members and public.

Hospice Volunteer Training
Volunteers are needed to stay with terminally ill patients to give regular caregivers a break and to help with other tasks.

Identity Theft Prevention
Learn how to protect yourself from identity theft. Open to members and public.

Kidney Disease and Predialysis Classes
For Group Health patients with kidney disease as well as their families and friends.

Living Well With Chronic Conditions
Persons who have ongoing, chronic health concerns can participate in either our six-week online or in-person workshops.

Low Vision Support Group
This group meets twice a month and offers support for anyone with vision loss. Open to members and the public.

Managing Medications as We Get Older
This class covers the use of pain medications, non-steroidal medications, and acetaminophen. Open to members and public.

Medicare 101 in SeaTac
Attend this information-only session and learn some Medicare basics, including eligibility, benefits, getting care, and other aspects of the Medicare puzzle. Free and open to the public. At SeaTac Senior Center.

Pulmonary Rehab
This class is for patients with lung disease. Topics include normal nutrition and factors that influence breathing.

Resolving Disputes with Friends and Family
Learn how to handle disputes with your loved ones. Open to members and public.

Senior Depression
This class offers support for seniors coping with depression. Open to members and public.

Senior Zoo Walkers
Stay healthy and fit while learning more about the zoo and its inhabitants.

SilverSneakers
A fitness class designed for seniors and led by specially trained instructors. In most classes, seniors exercise while seated in straight-back chairs.

Sleep Apnea Support Group
A quarterly support group for people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
