Living Well With Diabetes Workshops
These six-week, in-person group workshops help people learn how to manage their diabetes and improve their quality of life by setting goals and making a plan to achieve those goals.
Participants learn the skills offered in our Living Well With Chronic Conditions workshops. In addition, they learn specific skills for managing diabetes how to plan meals, maintain proper blood sugar levels, manage medications, deal with stress and fatigue, make a sick-day plan, and foot care. A friend, family member, or caregiver is encouraged to register with you to offer support.
There is no charge for the workshops. We recommend that you purchase a reference book that is used in the workshops. (Financial assistance available.)
