Group Health
Bicycle Saturdays & Sundays
Ride along a lakefront boulevard on 10 car-free weekends this spring and summer. In 2008, Group Health again is sponsoring the bicycle days, which are a Seattle Parks and Recreation Department program.
Seattle Parks will close Lake Washington Boulevard between Mount Baker Beach and Seward Park to motorized vehicles from approximately 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the dates listed below. The view is great and there are many places to stop for a swim or a picnic.
The route is about four miles, including the two-mile loop through Seward Park. Cyclists can enter the route at any point; there is no fee.
For directions to the Seward Park area, see the Seattle Parks Web site.
