2012 Program Highlights and Accomplishments

Donors made a tremendous impact on the health of our communities in 2012. Today — and every day — we celebrate these successes including:

  • Launching a groundbreaking pilot program to help parents teach one another about the importance of childhood vaccines. Donors also provided free vaccine clinics during an unprecedented statewide whooping cough epidemic. See Childhood Immunization Initiative
  • Investing in projects that allowed Group Health providers to test ideas aimed at improving how we care for patients. From preventing obesity to assisting with end of life care planning, donors made better health care possible. See Partnership for Innovation
  • Encouraging young people to learn nutrition tips and fitness habits, empowering new teen parents to gain better control over their lives, and championing research to help teens battling eating disorders. See Donor Designated Funds
