The Group Health Community Foundation is transition to a new grant making program. The Foundation is no longer accepting proposals for the Children and Teens grant making program. Return to this Web site in the spring to learn about the new grant making program. You can review the grant database to read about the grants that were awarded in recent years. The database is refreshed regularly with outcomes achieved by the grant recipients. Contact the grants team if you have any questions. Tomorrow's Medical Leaders

Group Health is successful because its people embrace innovation to improve health. The Stephanie and Howard Kirz Endowed Fund for Tomorrow's Medical Leaders was established in 2004 to benefit current and future medical leaders at Group Health.

The fund's primary purpose is to encourage young (and young-at-heart) physicians and medical professionals from Group Health Permanente to develop as leaders and grow innovative approaches to organizational leadership. Applicants may seek grants for education, training, personal development, and project support.

We are now accepting applications for this fund.

Vera K. Miller Endowed Scholarship

The Vera K. Miller Endowed Scholarship Fund for Career Development will award a limited number of scholarships of up to $1,000 each to Group Health patient care representatives and patient account representatives. Check back in spring 2008 for application guidelines and submission deadline.

Ethel Taylor Endowed Scholarship

The Ethel Taylor Endowed Scholarship Fund will award scholarships of up to $2,000 each to Group Health staff. Check back in spring 2008 for application guidelines and submission deadline.
