Children's Access to Care Initiative

The Children's Access to Care Initiative is a $1 million grants program to fund programs across Washington state that connect kids with coverage. According to the Children's Alliance there were 73,000 uninsured children in Washington state in 2007. The grants are part of Group Health's $2 million commitment to support children's access to care.

Program Evaluation

In 2009, the Group Health Research Institute's Center for Community Health and Evaluation evaluated the Children's Access to Care Initiative.
