Blood & Guts

Blood & Guts is a free health promotion exhibit sponsored by the Group Health Foundation to teach children about health and their bodies. More than 21 hands-on exhibits enable children of all ages to:

  • Construct a skeleton
  • Remove and replace organs in a life-sized doll
  • Touch five pounds of fat and muscle
  • Learn about fat and sugar content in favorite foods
  • Handle models of teeth, eyes, brains, and much more

By encouraging questions and fun interaction, the Blood & Guts exhibit sparks children's interest in how their bodies work. It also helps them recognize they have some control over their own health.
