Advanced training: Family Medicine Residency, Group Health Cooperative; Fellowship in Faculty Development, University of Washington.
Certifications: Board Certification in Family Practice and Adolescent Medicine.
Medical interests: People of all ages including pediatrics, obstetrics, women's health, sports medicine, minor surgical procedures, adolescents, and maintenance of well-being through prevention.
Personal interests: I enjoy beginning each day with a good run or biking and some yoga. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, cook large meals, and bake rustic bread. I also love exploring the low tides of Puget Sound.
Statement: I joined the Family Medicine Residency faculty in 1994. I am a graduate of our program and have completed a fellowship in faculty development. I am board-certified in adolescent medicine and am a certified Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) instructor. I serve as associate director of the Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Clinic, which is part of the program. I also supervise our Minor Operating Room Clinic. I practice at the Group Health Rainier Medical Center.
