Certifications: Board Certification in Family Practice and Adolescent Medicine.
Medical interests: Adolescent medicine, child development, and obstetrics. I practice half-time at Group Health Rainier Medical Center, teach half-time, and direct the Group Health Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Clinic.
Personal interests: I enjoy dancing, jazz, ,fiction, and philosophy. I am a devoted fan of basketball and baseball, which I consider to be metaphors for life. I am active in my synagogue and have three children.
Statement: I am a Family Medicine Residency graduate, have been on the faculty since 1987, and practice at the Group Health Rainier Medical Center. I am the founder and medical director of the Group Health Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Clinic.
