Residents

Our residents are a wonderful group, who bring a wide range of experience and interests to the residency. If we were to underscore some of the characteristics that make for a good match between the Group Health program and its residents, high on the list would be self-starters who enjoy having a degree of control over their learning.

Our graduates have gone on to careers in a broad variety of geographic and practice settings. Although most have remained in the western part of the country, we have former residents in practice around the world. They work in urban, suburban, and rural locations, with practice settings ranging from community health centers to private practice to academic faculty positions, as well as health care organizations such as Kaiser and Group Health. Some graduates have focused their scope of practice in areas including geriatrics, urgent care, occupational medicine, informatics, and health administration.
