Tina Chang, MD
Tina was born in China, moved to Illinois at age 7, and then grew up in North Carolina where she learned to enjoy Carolina barbeque and biscuits. She attended University of North Carolina (UNC)-Chapel Hill, where she studied photography and French, and became a dedicated Tarheel fan. She liked UNC so much that she continued there for medical school. Outside of her studies, she enjoyed traveling to Nicaragua to provide medical care with Christian Medical & Dental Association, and was care coordinator for a student-run free clinic. She is proficient in Mandarin and French and enjoys photography, running, hiking, cooking, piano, and spending time with her family.
