Chandra Maloney, MD
Chandra grew up in Portland, Ore., attended Santa Clara University in Calif., and received a bachelor's degree in combined sciences. After graduating, she spent a year working as an au pair in France, followed by a summer teaching English in China, and a year working as a Community Health Corps health educator at a family practice clinic in Berkeley. While in medical school at Loyola University - Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, she lived at the Ronald McDonald House as a resident manager for three years, and created a healthy lifestyle educational program as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow. Her medical degree was conferred with honors in bioethics, and she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, geriatrics, and integrative medicine. Outside of work, Chandra enjoys teaching fitness classes, watching movies, running and biking, spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
