Who Can Benefit From Cardiac Rehabilitation

Your doctor may suggest cardiac rehab if you have a heart problem or had a procedure or surgery. These include:

  • Angioplasty.

  • Heart failure.
  • Heart valve surgery.
  • Heart transplant.

Some health insurance plans cover rehab for other heart problems. These include:

  • Pacemaker placement surgery.
