Leaders Express Gratitude to Veterans at Group Health

In observance of Veterans Day, President and CEO Scott Armstrong and Chief Medical Officer Michael Soman, MD, express their heartfelt appreciation to our veteran staff on behalf of everyone at Group Health.

November 11 is Veterans Day, a time to pause and honor the sacrifice of the men and women of our armed forces. Throughout history the toughest jobs in the most unstable locations have fallen to those in uniform. Just last week we saw reservists brave extreme elements to keep people safe during Hurricane Sandy. This is just one of countless examples of our military placing themselves in harm’s way to serve our country.

We are grateful and proud that hundreds of active military, veterans, and their families choose to work at Group Health. We honor them for all of the contributions made within our walls as colleagues and out in the world as soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines.
