Speech, Language & Learning ServicesGroup Health's Speech, Language & Learning Services treats members experiencing speech, language, learning, swallowing, feeding, and cognitive problems resulting from a wide variety of developmental, acquired, and neurological conditions. We help members normalize, improve, or manage their ability to swallow, speak clearly, communicate effectively, understand, remember, think, or learn. To assure the best possible outcomes, we are committed to a comprehensive approach that includes counseling, consultation, and collaboration with doctors, nurses, teachers, parents, spouses, and caregivers. Our treatment emphasizes an individual approach with techniques based on the most current research. SLLS is also involved in quality management activities, clinical pathways development and implementation, and treatment outcome monitoring to determine the effectiveness of our services. Our staff includes speech and language pathologists who hold master's degrees and are certified by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association.
