Consulting Nurse Service
When you want care advice or need to know if you should get immediate medical attention, Group Health's Consulting Nurse Service can help 24 hours a day.
When you call, a nurse will listen to your concerns, give you advice and, if necessary, direct you to the best location to receive immediate care. You'll need to give your Group Health number when you call.
In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. If you are unable to do so, ask someone to call for you or to take you to the nearest emergency care facility. You may go to any hospital in your area for emergency care.
If an immediate response isn't needed, you can contact the Consulting Nurse Service through our "E-Mail Your Health Care Team" feature. A consulting nurse generally will respond within one business day, sending a message to your MyGroupHealth inbox.
To use the secure message feature, you must receive primary care at a Group Health medical center. You'll need to register. with MyGroupHealth for Members on this site and follow the instructions to get access to our secure online services.
