Audiology/Hear Centers

Group Health Audiology/Hear Centers offer comprehensive hearing evaluation, amplification assessment, hearing aid maintenance and testing as well as minor in-house repairs. We also offer loaner devices for use when your hearing aid needs to be sent to the manufacturer for repair.

Coverage and providers of audiology; ear, nose, and throat (ENT or otolaryngology); and other related services vary depending on your individual health plan. Check your health plan documents to see what your benefits are or contact Customer Service.

Audiology and Hearing Tests
You may self-refer to our Audiology/Hear Center for hearing evaluation services. After testing, our audiologist will coordinate follow-up treatment with your primary care provider or an ENT specialist as needed.

Hearing Aids
Our Audiology/Hear Centers offer a broad range of hearing aid models and styles featuring the most current hearing aid technology. Our specialists can discuss amplification and make recommendations that are appropriate for your hearing loss and unique hearing needs.

You may self-refer to our Audiology/Hear Center for hearing aid product and services. A current hearing evaluation is required before you can purchase hearing aids.

Following a hearing evaluation, you are eligible for a visit with an audiologist at no cost or copayment to discuss your amplification options. You must make an appointment for this service. There are no copayments for ear molds, repairs, and other hearing-aid related services. However, coverage varies among health plans.
