Radiology, Imaging, and Breast Imaging

Group Health provides a broad array of radiology and imaging diagnostic and consulting services. This includes breast imaging (mammograms), bone densitometry (DEXA) scans, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) scans, general diagnostic X-rays (including fluoroscopy and intravenous pyelogram or IVP), angiography, imaging-assisted biopsies, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, and positron emission tomography (PET) scans.

You must have a referral for all imaging services other than breast imaging.

Breast Imaging

Women 40 and older can schedule a mammogram based on age and personal risk assessment. (If you are under 40, contact your personal physician or women's health care provider.) You may receive a letter reminding you to make an appointment, or you can make a screening request through your personal physician or women's health care provider. If you have concerns about any breast lumps or changes, contact your personal physician immediately.
