Group Health 'Top Docs' Honors

Each year, Northwest publications and organizations honor outstanding doctors and other medical professionals. The 2012 honors are starting to roll in — with several of our doctors recognized in Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine's "Best Doctors," and one named in West Sound Home and Garden magazine's "Reader Choice Awards."

In 2011, 99 of our doctors were recognized as among the best in the state in several publications including: 425 Magazine's "Doctors Making a Difference;" Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living's "Best Doctors;" and Seattle Met Magazine, Seattle magazine, and Puget Sound Consumers' Checkbook "Top Doctors" lists. Consumers' Checkbook is a nonprofit organization that provides ratings of local service companies and health care providers.

"We know we have amazing doctors at Group Health, but there are still plenty of magazine readers who don't know we've got the region's largest medical group with a huge range of specialties," says Michael Soman, MD, president and CEO of Group Health Physicians. "All of our clinicians' contributions to their patients, their disciplines, and to our medical community make us proud."
