Group Health Top Doctors for 2007

The word is out: Group Health has outstanding physicians. But don't take our word for it; take the local physician community's word. We are pleased to announce that 38 of our doctors have been voted best in their field by their peers in Seattle magazine's 2007 "Top Doctors" issue and Spokane/Coeur d'Alene Living magazine's "Best Doctors of 2008."

Seattle magazine's "Top Doctors" list is the result of a survey of more than 11,000 physicians and complementary health care providers in King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Kitsap counties. The "Top Doctors" issue is the Seattle magazine's most popular edition, read by more than 166,000 people.

Additionally, Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine's March 2008 "Best Doctors" issue listed six Group Health doctors. Also a peer-voted rating, the magazine excerpts its list from The Best Doctors in America 2007-2008 database, which includes approximately 40,000 doctors in more than 40 medical specialties.

Of the 124 doctors honored in the Spokane area, six are from Group Health, four of whom were named in the 2007 list as well.
