WHY GROUP HEALTH? MEMBERS SAY IT BEST Jim Kawulok
In September of 2008, I was diagnosed with a small bowel obstruction that required emergency surgery. To make a long story short, my surgeon, Dr. Clyde Stevick, saved my life, and I am so thankful that he was on call that day. I was in the hospital for an additional 12 days, and Dr. Stevick followed up with me each and every day. Dr. Stevick was an excellent listener, which is very important. He gave me updates on my blood work and other tests associated with my follow-up care. Dr. Stevick should be commended in every aspect of health care, from his communication with me and my family before the surgery, through my hospital stay, and also during my office visit in September. This is the second time that Dr. Stevick has performed a life-saving surgical procedure on me.
