WHY GROUP HEALTH? MEMBERS SAY IT BEST
Centenarian Appreciates "Common Sense" Care

Twelve years ago, I moved to Bellevue, Wash. from Minneapolis, Minn. Prior to my move, I had been quite ill and under the care of a reputable doctor. After some months, my health continued to decline. My son-in-law and daughter suggested that I move to Bellevue so that they could assist me in getting better health care. They recommended Group Health.
I felt very apprehensive about finding a good doctor with a caring attitude.
My first observation at my initial appointment at Group Health was that I saw my physician right on time. At my health facility in Minneapolis, waiting a minimum of one hour beyond the appointed time was common. When the nurse admitted me into the exam room, she was pleasant, kind, and efficient.
When Dr. Shriver came into the exam room, he introduced himself and made me feel totally relaxed and at ease. I appreciated how professionally he was dressed. After my routine examination, Dr. Shriver thoroughly explained my treatment plan, and he encouraged me to give my input when I felt it was relevant.
I worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years, so I feel that my observation and opinion have merit. Finding a professional, intelligent, humble, and good "common sense" physician like Dr. Shriver has added many high quality and productive years to my life.
Dr. Shriver and his wonderful staff have made a great and positive impact on my life. I thank you, Dr. Shriver.
