WHY GROUP HEALTH? MEMBERS SAY IT BEST
Hospice Helped Mother Die With Dignity

Pat DetmerMy mother passed away in October five years ago. At that time, Group Health had a hospice near Factoria. It's no longer there, but I can't pass the spot without thinking of the amazing people who worked there and helped my mother — who was suffering from bone cancer, which was horrible and painful — die with dignity.

We've been Group Health members for 20 or so years now. I'll admit that about six or seven years ago when we changed jobs — meaning that we could consider changing health-care providers — we gave thought to leaving Group Health. But we stayed on and now have coverage as self-employed business owners, and we're glad we did. Everything about Group Health — our primary caregiver, the facilities, the ability to access records and human beings online, the care that we receive — is first-rate, and we let friends who are considering health care know that.
