WHY GROUP HEALTH? MEMBERS SAY IT BEST
Improvement Is Like Night and Day

Tamara JacksonI had reconstructive surgery on my left shoulder in 2003, when I was 33. Years of heavy work with my arms had loosened the capsule of tissue where my arm connects to my shoulder and the joint was almost disconnected. I'm a cyclist, and I was at the point where I couldn't bike anymore. Even sleeping on that side hurt.

Group Health's Dr. John Osgood operated on the rotator cuff and tendons around my shoulder. I was amazed at how efficiently and smoothly the surgery went. Afterwards, it took me about six months of physical therapy to gradually heal, regain my range of motion and full stamina, and get back on my bike. Now Dr. Osgood says I can do whatever activity I like. The improvement is like night and day.
