Endarterectomy for Unknown Stenosis With SymptomsBefore you can decide about having an endarterectomy, you need to know how narrowed your arteries are. If you have had symptoms, such as a TIA or mild stroke, but you don't know the amount of stenosis (narrowing) in your carotid arteries, you need to see your doctor.
