Glaucoma: Reducing Medicine Side EffectsTopic OverviewSide effects often develop from glaucoma medicine, because the medicine moves its way through the nasal duct into the back of the nose where it is absorbed into your body's bloodstream. If you have side effects from your glaucoma eyedrops, one of the following techniques for inserting them may help:
If you have to put in more than one kind of eyedrops at the same time, allow at least 5 minutes between each medicine. This will prevent the first set of eyedrops from being washed out of your eyes.
